Westway FAQ

Training in Shepherd's Bush — your questions

Where exactly is the Westway venue?

Westway Sports & Fitness Centre, 1 Crowthorne Road, London W10 6RP. It sits right beside Latimer Road station on the Circle & Hammersmith and City lines, a few minutes from White City and Shepherd's Bush.

What nights do E-PPRO train at Westway?

Tuesday 7–8.30pm (1 hr 30 min), U9–U16; Thursday 7–8.30pm (1 hr 30 min), U9–U16. Sessions are grouped by age and ability on the night, so every player is challenged at the right level.

What ages do you take at Westway?

The weekly Westway sessions are for U9–U16. Players are split into age and ability groups within the session, so a U9 is never asked to train against a U16. For younger players, our Pre-Academy (ages 5–8) runs at Tolworth.

How do I start?

Register your interest and we'll confirm a free trial slot in the right age group. Your player trains a full session with us, we assess them and give honest feedback, and only then do you decide whether to join a programme. Every player comes through this assessment before joining — it's how we hold the standard of each group, and it means your player trains with others at their level.

Who coaches the sessions?

UEFA B licensed coaches, alongside staff who actively scout and coach inside the professional game — the same team that runs our Surrey programme and our Talent ID Days.

What should my player bring?

Boots suitable for a 4G pitch, shin pads, water and training kit. Goalkeepers should bring their gloves. Bibs and balls are provided.

Can parents watch?

Yes. There's covered seating beside the pitch, so you can watch the whole session from the touchline.

Is there parking at Westway?

There is parking at the centre as well as on surrounding streets. Availability and charges are set by Westway Sports & Fitness rather than by us, so it's worth checking the latest details with the centre directly.

Do you offer 1-to-1 coaching in West London?

Yes. 1-to-1 coaching and individual development plans are available at Westway by arrangement, built around the player rather than a fixed timetable. Get in touch and we'll put a plan together.

Do you run Talent ID Days at Westway?

Yes — our last Talent ID Day brought 120+ players to this pitch, watched by scouts from Category 1–3 academies. Registration for the next one is open.
